David Karchner “Kevin did a great job upgrading my Mexican Tele with noiseless pickups, locking tuners, and strap locks. Extremely reasonable rates. Highest recommendation!”
Matt Cunningham – “Kevin has always done great work for me. He upgraded my pickups and set up my guitars for reasonable rates. He is also a wonderful guitar teacher and gifted musician.”
Tom LaBarge – “I had a 1967 Hagstrom F-200 I wanted to sell. I brought it in to Kevin with a laundry list of issues, some minor & some not so minor. Kevin cleaned the pots and switches and gave it a professional setup. It sounded like new when I got it back and I hated to give it up……….but I did, and it sold quickly to a very satisfied customer. Kevin also fixed up/set up my 1957 Gibson ES-125 and it played like new.”
Dean Rinehart “Kevin is my go-to guy . I’ve known him for 23 years. He convinced me to buy a mint ’69 Mustang in 1991 that’s now worth 10 times what I paid for it…he’s done setups for all of my vintage and not so vintage guitars; new wiring, new switching and hardware…even effects mods and electronics work. I’ve seen him take unplayable junk and turn it into art. There is no pretense or snobbery that you might get from a “luthier,” no sales pitch on upgrades from that pierced-face douche at Guitar Center. Kevin has been a gigging musician since electricity was discovered, so he’s not just some guy who knows how to put a feeler gauge under strings…he gets the why, not just the how. Highly recommended”
Rico Sauve Hi , my name is Rick and I own many of these guitars Kevin has been posting on his website while he was visiting in Aspinwall. Kevin has great passion and experience in his work & his prices are fair. On top of that , he is a great player and even better gentleman. I wish I had known him 20 yrs ago.
Jeff Stauffer – This is an endorsement for Kevin at Lehigh Valley Guitar. My Stratocaster came to me in pieces, needing all the missing parts Kev put it back together and I can’t say enough about how well it plays. Thank you my friend.
Greg Crenko – Kevin, just want to let you know what a great service you provide for the area guitar players.I have observed that no matter what skill level, or quality guitar one has, you bend over backwards to ensure the players satisfaction, from a simple set up to a complicated custom electronic wiring. One does not have to wait days or weeks for service as in other guitar shops. Your passion for guitar playing ensures your customers get the quality they deserve. Thanks for helping me out whenever I have an issue with one of my “babies”
Brennan Ayers Brought my Fender Baja Telecaster to Kevin to rewire it, adding a push-push series switch. I dropped it off for Kevin yesterday and it was done today. Since I got it home I haven’t put it down! Its sounds and plays amazing!! The push switch to get the humbucker sound is unreal. You can go from Roy Buchanan, to Duane Allman with a quick pop on the tone pot. Not to mention all the other great sounds in between! The wiring is solid and completely noiseless! Phenomenal job on this Tele Kevin!! And the price was unbeatable! Don’t take your guitar to amateurs. Take it to Kevin and have it done RIGHT! Thanks again Kevin!
Scott Hatfield I took my 1963 Fender Stratocaster to my friend Kevin at Lehigh Valley Guitar last week in desperate need of some electrical issues and a much needed tune up with no sound and playing like crap. As usual he knocked it out of the park. Picked it up Wednesday and it plays like I just bought it at a music store. I would recommend this guy to anyone in need of work big or small. And the price was more than reasonable. He’s a Stratmaster. Thanks bro.
Marita Sar : After only “three” classes via the instruction of Kevin Lang (along with some late nights of strumming myself to sleep), I was able to transition through enough chords to make it more than halfway through one of my favorite songs. More importantly, my dog didn’t growl at me or leave the room as I played and my neighbors didn’t call the police…! What is so wonderful about his method of teaching is the simple fact that he completely tailors his method of teaching to the individual personality and allows them a creative freedom while under his watchful eye. For certain, no student will walk away from his class void of understanding the “correct” way to play their guitar. Not to mention, he is quite the entertainer throughout the process which can melt away any stress that a new student may have. I HIGHLY recommend Kevin Lang of Lehigh Valley Guitar to anyone desiring lessons in guitar.
